FRIENDSWOOD –A SETTLEMENT OF FRIENDLY FOLKS

FRIENDSWOOD –A SETTLEMENT OF FRIENDLY FOLKS might aptly be described as a “cracker barrel heart history” of the community. The author’s informal style of presenting documented facts and demographics flavored with colorful stories from oral history has found favor with local folks and makes the account of Friendswood’s transition from figs to space both informative and entertaining. Author Joycina Day Baker is a long time resident of Friendswood.
